Other Details: Commercial bank from late Ch'ing Dynasty (founded 1906) and the first private Savings and Commercial Bank of China. Although supporting the Chinese Revolution with considerable funds, it went bankrupt prior its success in 1911. Business of this bank was continued later by NINGPO COMMERCIAL AND SAVINGS BANK.
