Front: National emblem of North Korea, Siebolds-Magnolia (National flower of Korea). Back: Instructions for the use of this savings bond: the first states that the bond is only good at the bank. The second states that if the savings bond is lost, the bank will not replace. The third states that the bond is good for one year only, cannot be cashed early and at the end of the year, the bank will pay 4% interest. The right side has information of the savings bond: date issued, date cashed, and the last line is for the bank issuer's signature.
