Printing of these scrips was a one man operation done entirely by Treasurer Villapa under difficult circumstances, when he could spare time from his regular duties. He printed them partly at his office or in his evacuation home a 17 km distant. The scarcity of paper resulting in anything available being utilized (bond paper, Manila wrapping paper, brown paper bags etc.). Issued by: Province of Palawan, Brooke's Point.
