Bolívar Fuerte: The Banco Central de Venezuela was created on September 7th 1939 with the issue of the Act "Ley del Banco Central de Venezuela" (The Central Bank of Venezuela Act), as a goal to centralize the banknotes and coin issuing, which in that time, many banks where issuing banknotes. Bolívar Fuerte (Approved on March 07th, 2007) 100 Céntimos (BsF) = 1 Bolívar Fuerte 10 Bolívares = 1 Céntimo (BsF) 1,000 Bolívares = 1 Bolívar Fuerte The monetary unit reform have been approved on March 7th 2007, however, this unit will be effective since January 1st 2008. Since January 1st 2008, which replaces the "Bolívar".
