The notes of 50,000 Guaranís, with the image of the soldier, series A and B missed their value in October 2006, after the theft of $ 2.2 million in notes of this model in Brazil. With this, the Central Bank of Paraguay decided not to release the remaining banknotes in the country, which equivalent to $ 100 million. The BCP commissioned the printing of ballots for bidding, the company Francois-Charles Oberthur Fiduciaire, France. The ballots had three years to lower total value, and demonetization. Due to theft, these notes do not have more commercial value, being be replaced by Mangoré 2007 series. (P-232). The replacement of banknotes have been opened only in exchange stations of the Central Bank of Paraguay.
